Why Paper Lanterns?

Paper lanterns are inexpensive, customizable, and create instant atmosphere. They work for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and holiday celebrations alike.

Design 1: Classic Accordion Lantern

Fold a large sheet of tissue paper accordion-style (1-inch folds). Tie the center with string, then fan out the folds into a sphere. Hang from ceiling or tree branches in clusters of 3-5.

Design 2: Geometric Cutout Lantern

Cut cardstock into a rectangular panel (12x8 inches)
Use a craft knife to cut geometric patterns
Roll into a cylinder and glue the seam
Insert an LED tea light for safe illumination
